Military is my only option?

This great country has given me the best life it can and the opportunities set up for me are endless but I chose not to give it all up, but give it away. I have lived a very happy childhood and my teenage years were the greatest time of my life, but now its my time to give back. I plan to join these United States Marine Corps, not for a 4 year then leave, it will be my life and the only thing i will ever do, not because of money or collage or benefits, because giving back to the country that gave me such a great life is the greatest honor I could have. A civilian career will not do, im giving up possible hopes and dreams so someone else can have them. You do not have to understand it, but do you respect it ?
