Is there a way to find contact information for ex or current marines if you are technically family?

For a long time I have been searching for my father, who left my mom and myself when I was 4 months old. I know his name, I know where he was stationed when I was born, but other than that, I know very little. I need some closure and I would like to be able to find him. Is there a way to get this information? Can I call a number for someone who can find military records? Im not sure what to do, any help is great. Thanks.
