Stupid question- Why do video games and movies make Marines out to be so bad@ss and invincible?

Steve nailed it. The Army sucks at advertisement, the Marine Corps pin pointed the Advertisement, the Blues they wear, the Swords...Semper Fi. Its all about TV Showmanship. I too am Army Infantry STILL, 25+ years, and NO they are NOT "better" than the Army, but yeah are still a group of Bad Arsed Warriors. Lots of respect, but its all about the Tradition and Respect they still demand, so they are a better eye candy for marketing.
